What started as a simple way to move and stay active quickly became one of the biggest sources of healing in my life. For years, I’ve battled anxiety and depression. But convincing myself to try “xtreme hip hop” step aerobics after many other attempted hobbies to calm my mind and body… it became a form of therapy for me. It gave my mind a break from the thoughts that tried to overwhelm me. And the community that formed around it became a safe space where I felt supported, seen, and reminded that I wasn’t fighting alone.

That’s why I created Step Haven. I wanted to share the same connection, relief, and joy that stepping gave me. This is a space where we challenge ourselves mentally and physically, but also where we show up for each other. Where we celebrate the wins, check in during the tough weeks, and push through those moments side by side. I will be offering Xtreme Hip Hop Step Aerobics as well as other modalities coming to you soon.

When you step into class, you leave your stress at the door because the movement won’t give you a choice but to be present. For that hour, your mind gets room to breathe. Your body gets to release. Your spirit gets to reset.

Xtreme Hip Hop - Step Haven is for every ability, gender, race, and size, because fitness isn’t about comparison. It’s about community, connection, and giving yourself permission to heal in whatever way you need.

My hope is that everyone who joins Step Haven feels what I felt: supported, uplifted, and reminded that you deserve to take up space, move your body with joy, and not carry life alone.

We are here to BUILD community, strengthen ourselves, and empower eachother through movement and music
